“Everybody's Flower Show”
Co-sponsored by the Council of Garden Clubs of the Halifax District

The Council of Garden Clubs of the Halifax District is happy to be celebrating its 53rd Anniversary of the Everybody’s Flower Show at the Daytona Beach Garden Show MARCH 13-16, 2008 sponsored by The Daytona Beach News-Journal. The Council of Garden Clubs of the Halifax District is honored to present Everybody’s Flower Show for another 4-day array of beautiful plants, exhibits, designs, and displays. We extend our sincere thanks to The Daytona Beach News-Journal for their continued sponsorship and support, and we are pleased to dedicate this Show to our most ardent supporter, Mr. Tippen Davidson. He is missed. Our theme this year is “Globe-Trotting”...which allows our minds to wander all over the world, visualizing gardens in far-reaching, exotic places. Think of the fascinating marketplaces of Marrakesh; a fun picnic of wine and cheese in Paris; a grand “asado” (cookout) in Argentina; the serenity of a Tokyo garden; or, the excitement of a night “on the town” in New York City. Allow yourself to dream...

Plants are everywhere – and they embellish our daily lives. It doesn’t matter if it’s an African Violet on a windowsill; a Hibiscus
in your yard; a Palm Tree on your property – they all beautify our world. Grow a plant, and your life will be brighter! Plant a seed
and see a miracle happen! Be sure to take your time to “travel” through all the plant “gardens” being exhibited. Travel with us; join our journey (or one of our Garden Clubs); learn how to benefit from the joy of growing a plant or planting a garden.

Thanks for joining us on our “trot around the globe.” Hope you have a grand time!
